Gordon Brown Saves The World
Gordon Brown slips up in PMQs, claiming the Labour government "saved the world" in their reaction to the banking crisis. A pressured Michael Martin attempts to control the ensuing uproar.
So, this may be a typical Freudian slip, or parapraxis. It is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is believed to be caused by the subconscious mind.
